From relying on one overextended associate to building a supported multi-doctor team with less stress, greater freedom, and room to grow.

After 20 years in practice, Dr. Jill K. and her husband had built an established chiropractic office with a great associate who had been part of their team for five years.
But as they looked toward the future, they faced an important question:
How could they continue growing without putting even more pressure on the people already carrying the load?
Working with Five Star Management helped Jill recognize that their existing associate was taking on too much responsibility, particularly when the owners stepped away from the practice.
Since then, they have added two more doctors, grown the practice, and created a stronger team atmosphere where responsibility no longer falls on one person.
The result is a practice with more support, less stress, greater freedom, and a team that’s excited to grow together.
Before working with Five Star, Jill and her husband already had an associate who had been a valuable part of their practice for several years.
The challenge wasn’t finding out whether associates could work.
It was figuring out how to grow beyond one associate successfully.
They weren’t sure how to bring additional doctors into the practice, and their existing associate was carrying more responsibility than they realized.
That became especially apparent when Jill and her husband wanted to take time away.
With only one associate available to cover the practice, the pressure landed heavily on him.
Five Star helped them recognize that this wasn’t a sustainable path for the practice or the doctor they wanted to support.
Working with Dr. Noel Lloyd and Five Star helped Jill and her husband rethink what their associate structure could look like.
Rather than continuing to rely heavily on one doctor, they began expanding the team.
Since then, they’ve added:
Two More Doctors
That brought their associate team to three doctors and changed the dynamic inside the practice.
With more people available to share responsibilities, patient care and practice growth no longer had to depend so heavily on one associate.
The goal wasn’t simply to add more doctors.
It was to create a true team environment where each doctor could feel supported.
For Jill, one of the biggest changes has been the atmosphere inside the practice.
Their original associate no longer feels like everything falls on his shoulders.
He’s calmer because he knows he has support around him.
And that shift has affected more than workload.
It has changed the culture.
By building a stronger doctor team, Jill has seen greater energy, collaboration, and support throughout the practice.
Instead of one associate carrying the responsibility when the owners aren’t there, the team can work together.
That creates a healthier environment for the associates and greater confidence for the owners.
Since expanding the associate team, Jill says the office has grown.
But the benefits go beyond practice growth.
The stronger team has created opportunities for:
Most importantly, the practice is no longer dependent on a single associate to carry the load.
The doctors have support, the owners have more freedom, and the practice has a stronger foundation for continued growth.
It’s brought us freedom. It’s brought us the ability to make more money, have more time to do the things we want to do, and just have less stress.
Another part of Five Star that Jill values is the way the seminars are structured.
Rather than simply sitting through lectures, doctors are encouraged to participate, answer questions, and learn from one another.
Jill appreciates hearing from chiropractors who are actively using the systems in their own practices and sharing what they’re experiencing.
That same emphasis on collaboration is reflected in what she has built inside her own office.
A stronger practice isn’t about one person carrying everything. It’s about creating a team that can succeed together.

We've totally revamped our associate program. It's led to great success with our associates, and the practice is up significantly since we first started.
Since working with Five Star, I've literally doubled my practice and it's become a lot more fun.
Five Star is a wonderful coaching group. The teaching is sound, innovative, and comes from docs that have proven that they know how to make clinics run well and make money. The doctors who belong to this group are also fantastic- a real community you can plug into. 5 stars for Five Star.
Current and cutting edge guidance to profit and joy in practice. Glad to have finally found them. I made an extra 75k this year and am moving out of my own personal “Groundhog Day” hell toward a joyous life.
I have been a client multiple times over the last 25 years. Excellent coaching, relevant and fresh content and have my best interest at heart.
Exceptional!! Definitely recommend. Game changer
I was a client years ago and just rejoined in Jan. 2018. Dr. Lloyd helped me learn how to attract and retain great patients years ago, and now with my new practice in Portland, OR. I'm super excited to be back with him and FSM. Thanks a lot Dr. Lloyd!
Best Organization ever. Very good and educated seminars. Dr Lloyd and Dr. Birnbach are the best.
Great program. Drs Noel and George provide powerful and highly relevant material that is current with changing times and tailored to our individual offices. I greatly appreciate the ability to grow while serving patients ethically and congruently.
So many ideas to promote my office. Like they say, if you can't find something you like on the menu, your not hungry!
