Turning decades of practice experience into a clear system for mentoring doctors, building a stronger team, and creating a lasting impact.

After 20 years in practice, Dr. Vance K. knew how to successfully care for patients and serve his community.
But he wanted his impact to extend beyond what he and his wife could accomplish on their own
Vance wanted to train, coach, and mentor other chiropractors inside the practice, helping them develop the same passion for chiropractic while creating success of their own.
After joining Five Star Management, Vance found a structured approach for communicating with and developing doctors through the Win-Win Associate philosophy.
Approximately a year and a half later, he describes having something especially valuable: clarity about where the practice is today and exactly where it’s going next.
After two decades in chiropractic, Vance wasn’t trying to figure out how to become a successful doctor.
He and his wife had already spent years building their careers and serving their community.
His next goal was bigger.
After two decades in chiropractic, Vance wasn’t trying to figure out how to become a successful doctor.
He and his wife had already spent years building their careers and serving their community.
His next goal was bigger.
Not only do we want to create health in our community, but we also want to train, coach, and mentor other doctors.
Vance wanted other chiropractors in the practice to bring the same energy and passion to patient care that he and his wife had developed over their careers.
But years of personal experience don’t automatically translate into a system someone else can follow.
He needed a better framework for developing other doctors while creating an environment where both the associates and the practice could succeed.
Working with Five Star gave Vance a structured approach for communicating with and mentoring chiropractors within the practice.
The foundation was the Win-Win Associate philosophy.
Instead of viewing an associate relationship as one-sided, the goal is to create an environment where the practice and the associate can both succeed.
For Vance, that means helping doctors build careers where they can:
The system gave Vance a way to take what he’d learned throughout his career and begin passing it on intentionally.
For Vance, the next stage of practice isn’t simply about personally becoming more successful.
It’s about helping other chiropractors become successful too.
Five Star helped provide a framework for turning decades of knowledge and experience into something that could be communicated, taught, and repeated.
We know exactly where we are. We know exactly where we’re going.
That clarity has helped Vance think beyond the day-to-day operation of the practice and focus on the larger vision.
The goal is to continue doing what he loves while developing other doctors who can carry that same passion forward.
Vance’s transformation isn’t defined by one financial number.
It’s defined by direction, leadership, and legacy.
After approximately a year and a half with Five Star, Vance has a clearer framework for developing doctors and moving the practice toward its long-term vision.
Today, he is focused on:
Rather than keeping 20 years of experience locked inside two doctors, Vance is creating a way to pass that knowledge on.
Five Star has the systems in place that allowed us to communicate with our doctors in a way, in a win-win system.
Another valuable part of Five Star for Vance has been the opportunity to learn from chiropractors who are implementing the same systems in their own practices.
At Five Star seminars, he can hear what’s working for other doctors, learn from their successes, and bring those ideas back to his own team.
That community reinforces an important idea:
You don’t have to figure out the next stage of practice alone.
After 20 years in chiropractic, Vance is still learning, refining, and preparing for what’s next.

We've totally revamped our associate program. It's led to great success with our associates, and the practice is up significantly since we first started.
Since working with Five Star, I've literally doubled my practice and it's become a lot more fun.
We're all on the same page because of the systems that we develop and keep practicing and sharpening through being in Five Star.
Five Star is a wonderful coaching group. The teaching is sound, innovative, and comes from docs that have proven that they know how to make clinics run well and make money. The doctors who belong to this group are also fantastic- a real community you can plug into. 5 stars for Five Star.
Current and cutting edge guidance to profit and joy in practice. Glad to have finally found them. I made an extra 75k this year and am moving out of my own personal “Groundhog Day” hell toward a joyous life.
I have been a client multiple times over the last 25 years. Excellent coaching, relevant and fresh content and have my best interest at heart.
Exceptional!! Definitely recommend. Game changer
I was a client years ago and just rejoined in Jan. 2018. Dr. Lloyd helped me learn how to attract and retain great patients years ago, and now with my new practice in Portland, OR. I'm super excited to be back with him and FSM. Thanks a lot Dr. Lloyd!
Best Organization ever. Very good and educated seminars. Dr Lloyd and Dr. Birnbach are the best.
Great program. Drs Noel and George provide powerful and highly relevant material that is current with changing times and tailored to our individual offices. I greatly appreciate the ability to grow while serving patients ethically and congruently.
So many ideas to promote my office. Like they say, if you can't find something you like on the menu, your not hungry!
