I Know Why You’re Stuck
Hey, are you stuck? Is your practice stuck poorly performing? You can’t grow past a particular area, and that’s been your top level for years. Maybe even decades? Well, in this short video, I’m going to talk to you about how to get unstuck and I think you’re going to like this message.
So, it’s my job, as a practice management consultant and doing that work for over 30 plus years, to help people get unstuck. I meet absolutely wonderful chiropractors, wonderful men and great women, people who love chiropractic, they love their practices, they love their patients. I mean, I love chiropractors, I am one, but they’re stuck and what we’ve been able to discern or find out is that everybody’s practice is stuck under a capacity block.
Now, there are 12 different capacity blocks, ‘Well, mine is just new patients if I could only get that new patient thing solved, I would have the practice of my dream.’ Well, you know what? I help people do that all the time and then they find other capacity blocks. So, here’s a question I have for you- Do you have a clear vision of what you need to do? Do you have a clear vision of the steps that you need to take and can you take a look at those steps and what you need to do with excitement, and say ‘cool I get to work on this’ and then recruit your team because you don’t want to do this alone.
Recruit your team to solve the capacity block and move on to the next level. Now, if you say number one, I don’t really know what the problem is. It’s just been the practice gets too stressful when I get to a particular level and I’m not sure what’s going on. You need to find out. If you know what your capacity issues are, but you don’t have a clear, positive, even joyful solution for the problem, you need one of those.
Now, I’m going to be teaching a live training called High Volume Low Stress. Well, I don’t want to do high volume, but you’d like to do higher volume, right? How about this and this is not crazy. How would you like to see twice the patients that you see now and work half as hard or have it be half as stressful, half as laborious, twice as joyful, twice as much fun?
Now, I’ve talked to too many people. I mean literally dozens and dozens and dozens of people that have gone from fifty to a hundred or from a hundred to two hundred from 200 to 400. That say, it’s crazy, but it’s true. It’s actually easier because you break through the capacity blocks and sometimes breaking through the capacity blocks means you solved the new patient problem. Sometimes it means that you streamline your team. Sometimes it means that you get extra hands in in terms of a new staff person, like a community outreach assistant or you bring an associate on board, maybe that’s your capacity block. Maybe you’re at physical capacity right now. You can’t see any more people because of your technique and how you take care of people.
