How to Have a Best Ever Year in 2020

How to Have a Best Ever Year in 2020

Everybody wants a great 2020, everybody does. There isn’t one person right now on the cusp of walking into next year that isn’t thinking, “Gee, I wish I had a great year.” I’ve got a way that you can ensure that your year will be as good as possible, and in this next segment, I’ll share it with you.

So here we are. We’re right on the verge of 2020. 2020 is right over there, just ready to step in, and how are you going to make 2020 your best ever year? Best ever year would be exciting. Best ever year would be worth the best you have to bring. Best ever year would inspire your team. Best ever year would mean that your patients are excited and engaged. So how do we do that?
Now, everybody knows this phrase. If you fail to plan, that’s right, you plan to fail. But how do we actually plan? First of all, I’m going to encourage you to make a list of things that are important to you. I’ve got a good starter list for you. Help people, have fun, make money. It’s the Five Star Management tri-fold objective. Help people first, big practice. Develop your staff, develop your associates, develop your family. So, number one, it’s helps people. Number two, have fun, enjoy your work. Use procedures that everybody likes, the staff, you, patients, your associates. Have some freedom. Make sure that you get some time off, make sure that you have some time to enjoy your success, and then third, make money, make this profitable. Work on your business.

Now, Noel, that’s great, and I love this, and I think it sounds like a good idea, but how would you suggest? Well, in the next segment, I’m going to talk exactly about how to do that.
So, I’m going to give you a four-letter acrostic, I think it’s an acrostic, for putting together your 2020, and its POLE. P-O-L-E. Number one is plan. Number two is organize. Number three is lead. And number four is evaluating. And instead of let’s plan for the whole year, let’s make this a 90-day plan and so, what would my plan be? Well, I’d have to sit down with what’s important, help people, have fun, make money. I want to help more people. I want to have more fun. I’d like to make more money. Maybe it’s new patient numbers, maybe it’s regular patient visits, maybe it’s understanding how you use your time. Maybe your plan has to do with how you train. I would recruit my team based on my goals and what I wanted to do. Plan with your team. Let your team have input. Bring your team to Five Star Management Foundation of Success. Get their input, put all of that wonderful energy into a plan, and then organize.

Now, sometimes doctors will tell me, “You know, I’m just not very organized.” You probably have an organized person on your staff. Maybe it’s a CA that can help you organize your leading your group. At Five Star, this January, we’re going to teach CAs how to lead an office meeting on behalf of their doctor, so get everything organized, into sequence, into tasks, and then lead.
Now, if you don’t feel like a great leader, all you have to do is your stuff. All you have to do is the stuff that you need to do and then make sure that you check in with your team and make sure that they’re doing what they need to do, and then number four is evaluate. How did we do? You can make some course corrections as you go along. I mean, this is not set in stone.
So, first, plan, second, organize, third, lead, and fourth, evaluate. If you do that, based on help people, have fun, make money, you will have an absolutely killer year in 2020. I promise you.

Hey, we’re just a couple days from New Year’s Eve. I truly, truly am grateful, tons of gratitude and feel wonderfully blessed, to have an opportunity to work with such wonderful chiropractors, and I’m not being, I’m not being solicitous, and I’m not trying to flatter. If you’re in Five Star Management, we like you and then I also feel blessed and very, very privileged to be a chiropractor, all that chiropractic has done for me and chiropractic has done for the people that I love and care for and so, we, as chiropractors and CAs, are very, very, very blessed. I hope you know that, and I hope you feel that, and I hope you enjoy that.
