Five Star’s Creative Collaboration to Solve Practice Problems
Hey everyone. This is Dr. George Birnbach. And I wanna talk about why we’re putting people in group coaching calls. It doesn’t mean that you can’t have a one-on-one coaching call if you need it. It doesn’t mean that those aren’t very effective because there are certain problems we need to work one-on-one. But the reason we’re starting to move towards the practice essentials group, the reason we’re putting together our win-win group, our winning with associates group. You see. The reason we’re doing all of this is because having a creative circle of professionals is giving tremendous wins across the board. You see, there’s a cognitive dissonance that happens in thinking sometimes. We start thinking that, “Man, I can just figure this out.” Where with collaboration, you get more ideas from the outside.
People who, or you’re just chatting about how they solved the problem, can run parallels to your own perspective, and you’ll grow and things work out. By doing these circles with other great chiropractors, you get connection, you get sparks, you get collaboration. You get to hear where they ran into friction, so you can get a breakthrough. It’s the magic of creative thinking, and that’s why it works. So, how do we do this? First, we always start with the same question. What problem are we trying to solve? And then, we look for the group that’s going to be solving those problems. So our practice essentials group, is to get all new chiropractors up and running and at speed in the best chiropractic systems. And if you’re running an office and you wanna, you know, get better at the essentials, then dive into that group, our win-win group are sharing wins for the week.
You see. Just like our NPA group are sharing wins in marketing and how they’re solving challenges with COVID objections, and getting into schools, and getting into corporations, and what could be a very trying time. So, the first step to mastering a creative circle of people is to find your people, based on the problems you’re trying to solve. And a five-star, we have that going really well in the new patient academy, we have that going really well. The second is to make it a priority by scheduling it, and make it a priority by bringing with you a problem or a project or a breakthrough, you see. A problem, a project, or a breakthrough. So you prioritize it first by getting it on your calendar, getting it on the schedule, so you know you’re not gonna miss it. That way you know, you’re showing up and you have either a problem, a project or a breakthrough to share. Step three is to share, share, share, share, share, share, and then share some more. You have to be sharing. You have to be open. You have to be loose with the thought process, because even if you’re just thinking through an idea, sharing allows the collaborative effort of the group to help solve those problems, to turn the tables of what might’ve been a long slog through the jungle, and turns it into new concepts. New art, new perspective. New challenges that you can see yourself achieving. So be brave, share what you’re going through, share what you’re doing. And then we look at how your systems and the essentials lineup, how wins from the central part of the states can apply to you on the coastal part of the states, things like that. So that’s step three. Step four, no pressure. Right? I know I said to schedule and, but, having it on the schedule just makes it possible for you to get there. There’s no real pressure to any of this. Sometimes you just wanna sit and listen, but try to show up prepared and ready to share. There’s no judgment in these groups.
It’s just fun. And everyone’s on your side. Imagine the smartest chiropractors in our industry, all on your side. You see, that’s step four. And step five is to create this shared space, so the whole circle can come together. And we celebrate wins. And we even celebrate challenges because it’s in the failures and the challenges that we’re tempering ourselves up and learning about ourselves.
