Associate Flow Chart Revealed!

If you know me or you’ve seen some of my videos, you know I’m really fond of teaching off the 3 points, the 5 secrets, and the 7 steps. I love checklists! It’s a great way to teach and it’s a wonderful way to learn, but I’m also really fond of flow charts.
Now this is the Win-Win Associate Plug-N-Play Flow Chart. It shows you exactly where you are and what to do next. So, let’s take a look at the flow chart. Let’s start with where we want to end up. This is a successful clinic director who has an associate who wants to buy their practice when the doctor decides to step down or move back a little bit. Plus there are 4 satellite clinics here, two of which have been sold for cash to trusted associates and these clinics are still making the clinic director money.
So how do you start this process? The flow chart is going to tell us. We are going to go right down here, this is internships. Now you can have a tremendous opportunity to test out and to find out if an intern would be a good associate with your clinic if you know how to bring them in and you know how to develop them.
This is what we call the A0. That’s the unlicensed chiropractor working in something that’s similar to an internship. Again they have a chance to contribute greatly to the practice and you get a chance to find out if they’re going to make a good associate.
Now we’re going to go straight up to an A1, that’s a training associate at less than 75 visits. They are going from launch to bonus. They’re making the clinic money, they’re giving you freedom, and they’re giving your real help with your patients.
The A2 is over 75 patient visits. They have a different set of responsibilities, but they’re preparing to do 1 of 2 things. Either go up to the A3 position which is the long-term stay. We all like that, wouldn’t we? Associates that come and stay for a decade, there’s a specific set of responsibilities that they have and ways that you train that person.
And then this person over here is what we call an A4. They want to have a clinic of their own and they have built a great reputation and you trust them. You would be happy to take them into one of the satellites and give them an opportunity to buy that.
