Ask These Three Questions of Everyone Before the End of the Year!
Hey, everyone. My name is Dr. George Birnbach. Welcome, welcome, welcome.
So… So many times we’re talking about leadership and when we’re talking about leadership we’re usually asked to… give a sense a universality to our clinic and to… involve all of us together and at the same time to recognize each individual staff members uniqueness.
To magnify what we all share and to lift up what is special in each and every one of them. Well, that’s not always easy but… to really excel as the leader of a team it is usually because we’ve successfully integrated those two concepts. The universality of the clinic as a whole with each individual… with each individuals individuals… skills. All right so let’s dive into this.
Why does this matter? Because inside of a clinic we have two main things. We have we experiences and we have me experiences. And so as a group we say we are experiencing the chiropractic growth the nutrition growth the personal growth. As a unit we’re doing this all together with production and marketing and fun and values but each person also has very specific me experiences. And these matters.
So there are three questions I want you to ask everyone before the end of the year and it’s gonna give you a great sense of how well you’re doing leading this group.
The first question is… Are you really enthusiastic about the mission of this practice? Are you really enthusiastic about the work we’re doing here? Right? Another way to say that is… Are you really excited about what we’re building now and over the course of the next year? Ask that question. That’s question number one. Are you really excited about what we’re doing here? And what we’re growing? And what we’re putting our time into? That’s question number two. Oh, question number one.
Question number two. Do you have the chance to use your strengths every day in your job? Do you have the chance to use your strengths every day here? Because some people they feel overlooked that, “I am following the systems but I’m not really being me.” Well, I want to know as the leader, as the visionary as the manager, as the person in charge. I want to know if you’re being leveraged and utilized to your greatest strengths or what would that look like?
So question number two. Do you have the chance to use your strengths every day here? Are you given that opportunity to shine? And then question number three. Do you feel recognized for the work you do? Do you feel recognized for the excellent work that you do? So those are the three questions, all right?
One more time through question number one. Are you really excited about what we’re building here? About the work we do? Are you really enthusiastic about what’s coming up? Question number two. Do you have a chance to use your strengths at your job every day?
And question number three. Do you feel recognized for the work that you do here? That’s what we’re talking about. Those are the three questions you need to ask them of everyone on your team before the end of the year because that is going to help identify our priorities moving forward into the new year.
All right? My name is Dr. George Birnbach. I’ll talk to you soon. Bye bye.
