Hey, this is Dr. Noel Lloyd for Five Star Management and this is the 5 (+1) Keys To a Great Win-Win Associate Program. Absolutely love teaching doctors how to hire and develop successful associates in great win-win relationships.

I’m going to be teaching that in Las Vegas, coming up on November 19 & 20, at The Linq and I want to show you what I’ve got to teach. It’s 5 keys plus 1!

The first thing I’m going to teach is module number 1, how to prepare. This is so important. So many times doctors feel like they’re trying to entice somebody to come work with them. The associate is the prize instead of your job. If you prepare right and you know how to make the right offer and how to structure your associateship correctly, you will be the prize. We are going to cover this.

Number 2, we’re going to talk about how to pick the right associate. It’s possible, as you know, if you’ve been hiring people over a period of time to pick the wrong person. How do you know you’ve got the right associate? How do you know you have somebody who will do the work, somebody who will be successful? I’m going to take you through the screening process, how to do the interviews, how to do the ads. You will leave with a fully written ad ready to post so you can start to get a good pick for a good associate.

Now, number 3, we’re going to talk about how to prime. This is so important. So many times doctors allow their associate just to hang around until things get really bad and then they start making threats or acting desperate. If you prime the associate correctly form the very, very start from what we call onboarding, your associate will know what to do and it will be a successful relationship if you’ve prepared right, picked right, and then you need to prime in order to have a successful associate.

Then we are going to talk about how to push. There is this launch sequence to take associates from profitable to bonus; in other words for making more money than they cost you to actually getting into bonus themselves. They want to help people, have fun, make money the same way that you do. We’re going to show you how to help them in what we call the push piece.

Number 5, how to profit. Now one good associate can mean for you a net 100K year after year after year, even in the first year and there’s more than enough money for the associate to have a good base salary and to have a good bonus and to make great money. So we are going to talk about how to profit in cash, how to profit in time so that you can get the freedom that you want to enjoy your success with your family. So the associate can have some freedom as well because if they’re going to be with you a long time, they need to have some vacation time as well. We’ll talk about how that all balances out.

Number 6, we’re going to talk about how to proliferate. Now this is kind of a funny picture. The top row here shows a bunch of clones. Let me ask you this, if you were able to develop one good, strong, profitable associate, somebody who could make more money for you by getting their own new patients, by taking care of those patients, and by collecting on those patients. If they could do that in 30, 60, 90 days, wouldn’t it make sense that you would want to get another associate? So many people, especially after they learn the win-win system for developing associates, say to me, “If one works Noel, how about two?” I’ve got doctors who have three and four associates. They’ve got a great win-win relationship, they work together as a team, I’ll show you how to proliferate.

The bottom of the picture shows a bunch of little houses. In fact they kind of look like monopoly houses. Let’s say the red one is the mother ship, that’s the office that you’re in right now. You might, if you learn how to develop associates well and you learn a low stress operating system for your clinic, want to go into multiple offices. I’m going to talk about how to do that and then how to sell those offices.

I built ten practices, sold them to my associates for cash and I do that in what’s called Win-Win Associates. We do it November 19 & 20 at the Linq, in Las Vegas. Now, we’ve got a special early bird fee and the early bird fee is only $197 per person. In the past, one person attends the seminar for $995. $995, so we’ve cut basically 80% off the cost so it’s $197 per person, but that early bird fee disappears on Halloween.
